Custom Supplies and Techniques Policy

Albany Cleaning Solutions ("ACS") normally uses products, equipment, and methods selected by our company. Customers may ask us to use a different product or cleaning technique; however, these requests are handled differently from our standard cleaning process.

Customer Requests

Please discuss requests for custom supplies, equipment, or techniques with ACS before service begins. By asking us to use an option that we do not recommend, the customer accepts the additional uncertainty and risk that may come with that choice.

Results and Surface Compatibility

ACS cannot promise that a customer-selected product or method will work as expected or be appropriate for every surface, material, fixture, furnishing, or appliance. Even when used carefully, a non-recommended option may produce unwanted effects such as fading, staining, scratches, etching, corrosion, lingering odors, residue, deterioration, loss of finish, or other temporary or permanent damage.

Responsibility for Custom Requests

Customers are responsible for the risks reasonably connected with the custom products or methods they request. To the fullest extent allowed by law, ACS and its owners and employees are not responsible for damage directly caused by a customer-requested product or technique when the request is carried out with reasonable care.

Our Right to Decline or Stop

Safety and professional judgment always come first. ACS may decline a custom request or stop using a requested product, piece of equipment, or technique at any time. This may occur when our team believes the request could be unsafe, ineffective, damaging, or unsuitable for the service being performed.

Effect on Cleaning Time

Custom products and methods may require more time than our usual process. Because appointments reserve a set amount of cleaning time, honoring a special request may reduce the time available for other rooms, surfaces, or tasks during the same visit.

Ongoing Requests

Unless the customer withdraws the request or ACS provides updated terms, an approved custom request may continue to apply to future services at the same service address. Customers should notify us promptly if they want to change or discontinue a previous request.
